Information we collect
We may collect your name, business name, email address, website address, enquiry details, account and security records, website-change requests, preview decisions, approval history, billing status, customer review content and information you choose to supply for your website.
Website enquiries
When you use our website enquiry form, the details you provide, including your contact information and project description, are processed by our hosting provider Netlify to receive and store the submission. We use the information to respond to your enquiry. We may also receive an email notification through our business email provider.
Customer reviews
Verified clients may submit a name, business name, star rating and written review through the private portal. Reviews remain private while awaiting moderation. If approved, the submitted name, business name, rating and review are displayed publicly; the client’s account identifier and email address are not displayed.
Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide contracted website services, operate secure client accounts, create requested website content, record approvals, moderate and publish reviews with permission, prevent misuse, manage payments and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases may include taking steps before a contract, performing a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations and consent where appropriate.
Who receives information
We use trusted service providers for website hosting, authentication, database services, transactional email, payment processing, communications and assisted drafting. We only share information where needed to provide or protect the service, or where the law requires it.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we expect appropriate contractual and legal safeguards to be used.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as it is required for the service, security, accounting, dispute handling and legal obligations. Client project, review and approval records may be retained while a website remains managed and for an appropriate period afterwards.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer of your personal information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use invitation-only accounts, access controls, private previews, approval records and server-side protection for sensitive credentials. No online service can promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to reduce risk.
